About Me
I am a scientist at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. My research uses electrophysiological, behavioral, and neuroimaging approaches in animal models to explore the circuit-based neural mechanisms underlying mental health disorders, with the goal of understanding and improving current therapeutics.
Most recently, I have been investigating ways to extend the effects of brain stimulation using psychedelic drugs — combining neuromodulation with psychedelic-induced neuroplasticity to create longer-lasting changes in brain activity and behavior.
I completed my Ph.D. at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine and hold a B.Sc. in Neuroscience and a B.A. in Philosophy from Indiana University.
